Arrival Story:
My parents told us we could get a pair of dogs last summer and after figuring out the most of the shelters had several rules that we couldn't abide by, we looked at breeders. We found an ad that a lady had just had a litter of puppies that she was finding homes for and went up to see them. It turns out that the lady had a purebreed Vizsla she had been getting ready to breed. She took the dog (who was in heat) to her parents for the weekend and her father had let his purebreed Labrador out on the porch with out noticing that the Vizsla was out there. Needless to say the Vizsla ended up with a little of pups! We got the last two. One male and one female.
Bio:
Jessie is a sweetie who just wants to be loved. She does not beg for love (because she doesn't have to) but know how to get her share. We have a dog door and she has learned that Jasper will chase her out of the dog door. After leading Jasper out of the house (and your arms) she will sneak back into the house and snuggle up with you for a while before Jasper realizes what's going on. When she was a puppy she was the dominant pup and unafriad of anything. When she was six months old she could jump a five foot door to roam the house when nobody was home. Now she has become more submisive (although she still can put Jasper in his place) and is the least enthusiasic agility dog I've ever seen. She is the most calm and lovable of the two though.

I had to go to the vet again. My ouchie was getting very swollen and we were not sure whether that was normal fluid or an infection. I had to sit and be held while they poked it to check the fluid. YUCK! I did not like that! Fortunatly it was the good fluid and my cut is heeling very well. The vet and the nurse tried to make up with me by giving me a treat but I had to get it thrown to me because I didn't want to go near them! I'm told I have to go back again to get the staples removed! I hope they don't hold me down like they did before! I bet they will! *shudders*

Hello. I'm kinda unhappy today. I was out in the yard and when I came in mom found a large gash on my chest. Mindy had to sit with me for an hour and a half with a wash rag till our vet appointment! I think this is the first emergency that we did not have to pay double at an emergency vet for! It didn't bleed much and when we got to the vet he said it was very deep and may have torn a little muscle. I wouldn't sit still for my stiches so I had to get staples instead! Yuck! Well, I'd better relax a bit! Bye~

I love to run! Especially at the dog park! We haven't been there in a while (it's been a little chilly!) but maybe we'll go soon! I went on a run with mom today but I still want to go again! Daddy said the word 'go' and I thought maybe he was going to take me but it turns out he just meant that he had to go to work. It was very sad. I don't like it when people leave! Well, I should go and check that Mom doesn't want to go...I dont want to be left behide if she does leave! BYE!
