Here I Am!

It has been a long time since I have been able to write in my diary. Mommy has been hogging the computer because of this thing she calls "school". All I know is that it took time away from me so that is why I don't like it.

Now Daddy had to go and bring a new puppy home. He says it is because Mommy told him she wanted another one, but I don't quite believe that. They went to this place called the Humane Society, but my grandpa actually says it is the doggie motel. A temporary stopover until they get to a permanent home. I haven't quite gotten used to having him, but he won't leave me alone! All he wants to do is play, but I don't want to, so he chases me around until Mommy or Daddy make him stop. Maybe when he gets a little bigger I'll play with him. Until then, I'll go my way and he can go his. As long as he doesn't play with my toys!

Until next time,

My New Toy

On Sunday, Mommy and Daddy bought me a new toy! They are the best!!! I have this blue tennis ball that is the size of a basketball and I have deflated it, but it is still my favorite toy. Well, I now have a purple one that isn't deflated and I spent 2 hours on Sunday playing with it. Daddy finally took it away because he was concerned that I had overextended myself. I sure was sore that night and the next day from all the running that I did. I don't know where Daddy hid it, but I hope that he brings it out again soon.

Well, that is all the news I have for now. Bark at you later!

Long Time...No Talk

Well, it has been awhile since I have been able to get on the computer. The month of January has been a crazy month for us. First, an ice storm hit town and knocked our electricity out for 8 days. Then, Mommy started school again so she is always gone. Now, Daddy is sick so he is no fun. Other than that, life is great! We went to Oklahoma when our electricity was out and that was fun! It was my first major road trip and Mommy was worried about how I would do. After we got home, she said that I would make a great traveling companion. I would give kisses every now and then to make sure that everyone was awake and I would look out the front window so that I could see all the cars. I was happy to get back home though, because I missed my back yard. I hope February is just as fun, except I don't want our electricity to go out. Well, it's off to curl up in bed with Daddy now, so woof at you all later!

Christmas Day

I hope everyone had a great Christmas. I know I did. I got a lot of toys and I couldn't make up my mind which ones I wanted to play with. Then, Grandma, Grandpa, Buddy, and Reina got Sooner and I some goodies!!! Then Great-Grandma, Great-Grandpa, Molly, and Dolly got us some more!!! Life is good around here. Well, I have to go and play with my toys. I already pulled the stuffing out of one and Mom wondered why she even bothers buying me anything if all I do is destroy it. I'm just giving her practice for when she has a two-legged kid.

I hope everyone has a Happy New Year and a prosperous one!

Woof at you later-

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas to all dogs and their families!

Sooner has been kind of annoying lately. She knows that Mommy and Daddy have bought us presents and she wants me to sneak in the closet and find out what they are. She won't do it because Mommy thinks she is an angel and that she doesn't do anything wrong. Little does Mommy know... I just hope that I have some new toys!!! I hope every dog gets what they want for Christmas!

Until next year!

My Mommy is in a great mood because her Sooners won a football game. When Mommy is in a great mood, good things happen for sissy and I. Like tonight, we are getting lasagna to eat. Our own piece!!! Mommy told her friends at work that if there was anything left over that she would bring some to them tomorrow for lunch. I was going to make sure that there is none left, but then I heard her tell Daddy that we couldn't have all of it because she has to take it to work. That means someone else will be eating MY lasagna. Oh well, at least Daddy lets us lick his plate.
Mommy was kinda mad at me this morning. She put us outside but I saw her step towards the food bag, so I didn't leave the porch. She was yelling at me to go potty, but I wasn't going to budge. She let us in and fed us, but I paid for not going when she told me to, because then I had to wait an hour for Daddy to come home and let us out again.
Mommy is going to the kitchen to dish out our lasagna, so I'll woof at you all later.

Well, now that things have settled down around here, I can finally relax. My Mom gave me a bath that morning and then while she was trying to cook, she wouldn't let me hang around in the kitchen. I don't know why because I am so good at cleaning up any thing that drops on the floor. Then my grandma and grandpa brought their pitties up to visit on Thanksgiving. After they left, I had to go around and re-mark my backyard. Then Mom and Dad left me and Sooner in the care of our Aunt while they went to the casino in Oklahoma. Yesterday, we all lounged around the house watching football. I get so excited when Mom and Dad yell and cheer! They were really happy that the Raiders won, so that means I was happy too!
It's snowing here today which means that I want to spend all my time outside running in it. Hopefully it piles up so that I can run and jump into it.
Until next time...

Well, Mommy decided to put off her homework for a little while, so I jumped on the computer to post an entry. Mommy is charging her camera so that means that she is going to want me to sit still so she can take pictures. I don't do well at sitting still. She has said many times that she wishes she could bottle my energy and sell it. Uh comes Daddy. He wants us to go outside. I bet there are birds out there and I need to show them who is in charge of our backyard. Talk more later.
