Here I Am!

ARGHHH!

It has been a long time since I have been able to write in my diary. Mommy has been hogging the computer because of this thing she calls "school". All I know is that it took time away from me so that is why I don't like it.

Now Daddy had to go and bring a new puppy home. He says it is because Mommy told him she wanted another one, but I don't quite believe that. They went to this place called the Humane Society, but my grandpa actually says it is the doggie motel. A temporary stopover until they get to a permanent home. I haven't quite gotten used to having him, but he won't leave me alone! All he wants to do is play, but I don't want to, so he chases me around until Mommy or Daddy make him stop. Maybe when he gets a little bigger I'll play with him. Until then, I'll go my way and he can go his. As long as he doesn't play with my toys!

My New Toy

On Sunday, Mommy and Daddy bought me a new toy! They are the best!!! I have this blue tennis ball that is the size of a basketball and I have deflated it, but it is still my favorite toy. Well, I now have a purple one that isn't deflated and I spent 2 hours on Sunday playing with it. Daddy finally took it away because he was concerned that I had overextended myself. I sure was sore that night and the next day from all the running that I did. I don't know where Daddy hid it, but I hope that he brings it out again soon.

Long Time...No Talk

Well, it has been awhile since I have been able to get on the computer. The month of January has been a crazy month for us. First, an ice storm hit town and knocked our electricity out for 8 days. Then, Mommy started school again so she is always gone. Now, Daddy is sick so he is no fun. Other than that, life is great! We went to Oklahoma when our electricity was out and that was fun! It was my first major road trip and Mommy was worried about how I would do. After we got home, she said that I would make a great traveling companion. I would give kisses every now and then to make sure that everyone was awake and I would look out the front window so that I could see all the cars. I was happy to get back home though, because I missed my back yard. I hope February is just as fun, except I don't want our electricity to go out. Well, it's off to curl up in bed with Daddy now, so woof at you all later!
