I Have Arrived!

Scary Times

Well, the past month has been a trying one for Mommy, Daddy, the boys, and me. I had a mild stoke that freaked Mommy out and she rushed me to the vet. She knows that I don't like going there. Anyways, he kept me overnight and put me on some medicine to help with the inflammation behind my eye and my balance. That's what Mommy noticed first. I was having a hard time walking and my head was tilted to the side a little. I'm old, so I have trouble walking sometimes anyways, but this was worse. When she picked me up the next day, she was crying because she was so happy to see me. We went home and she wouldn't let the boys be around me because I needed to rest. I don't know why he thinks he can tell me what to do, but whatever. Mommy was carrying me everywhere, (no easy feat considering I weigh around 55 pounds), until Daddy told her that I had to overcome this. By her carrying me, I wasn't working to get myself healthy again. When I went in for a checkup 2 weeks later, the vet said that he was so surprised at how fast I had recovered. I still have a little bit of a problem with my balance, but I'm not ready to give up yet. We are all doing okay now and that is the important thing.

Wow

Time flies around here. I can't believe it has been almost a year since I have written anything. I would like to say that I have been busy, but that's not true. As you can see, my Mommy and Daddy brought home another dog. They must have not thought that Zeus and I were enough. He is a pest and insists on chewing on my collar. I probably wouldn't mind as much, except for the fact it is around my neck! He isn't all bad, he's even kinda cute, but I'm not telling Mommy that. She tries to make him leave me alone sometimes, but then I go and start playing with him. Mommy thinks that I must look a little like his dog mom and that is why he likes me. Aren't I just the lucky one.

Well, now that my nap is over, I need to go lay down the law for that young whippersnapper.

Hi Everyone!

It has been a long time since I have been able to get on here and say hi! Not a whole lot has been going on around here except that Mommy isn't home as much and that upsets me. She goes to work and then she goes to school so I don't see her as often. This week she is on Spring Break and she is sick today, so she is spending the whole day at home. That almost makes up for her being gone so much.
It's been pretty nice weather wise here in the Land of Oz, so I like to go outside and roll around in the grass and then lay in the sun. Daddy laughs at me when I roll around, but that just means he wishes he could do it also. Mommy keeps saying she is going to give me a bath, but she always gets busy doing something else.
Well, that's all I have for the moment. I will bark at everyone later!
