Arrival Story:
Jackie was a foster who had too many health problems as a small puppy to be easily adoptable so we just kept her. She has skin problems, ears that must be cleaned frequently and must be fed special food.

Bio:
Jackie is a very active dog who loves chewing on her brother and sister, Osito and Molly. (Alex will not let her near him) She is a great climber and loves to dig under the fence. We are still working on a solution for that. She is always happy and has never met a stranger, person or animal, all are her friends. Jackie is also a great jumper. She can jump about 5 feet straight up to reach something she wants. She is the only one of the family dogs who likes to sleep in someones bed at night. She is a great foot warmer.

Ouch!

My ears are infected again. Last week Mom took me to the vet and they gave her drops to put in my ears. I hate having that done and shke my head a lot after she puts the drops in. Unfortunately I shook my head too hard and got a hematoma in my ear. This time I had to stay at the vet overnight so the could operate on my ear. It hurts. Mom brought me home today and I still want to shake my head, but it hurts so I can't. I sure hope it gets better soon.

I am a happy dog. When I was born I had a lot of problems and some people thought I was going to die. My mom decided that I was worth saving so she brought me home and taught me to eat. I still have a lot of health problems and am a lot of work for her, but she says I'm worth it. I love my mom and my brother and sister, Osito and Molley. In fact I love everyone I meet. I'm so happy mom thought I was worth the extra work. I try to show her by being a good dog and giving her lots of love.
