We really struggled at first with the leash thing but finally got a hold of it, unless of course their where a bunch of stange people around.
Arrival Story:
Bailey was born in our house, out of Daisy's first litter.. She was sold to a lady that had cattle and land..About a week after she had gone the woman called and said she felt bad because she just didn't have time to spend with her.. We ACD lovers know what happens when you don't spend time with them, don't we? We tell everyone that takes one our pups, if for any reason this doesn't work out,call us, we will take it back and give you a refund. (We are pretty picky about the homes our pups go to). We had at first had every intention in putting her back up for sale, but when we saw how withdrawn she was from being left alone we just couldn't put her through the trama again and decided just to keep her.. We had kept DeeDee out of the same litter and they played so well together we just couldn't bring our selves to seperate them again.Bailey never quite got over being taken from her home the first time I don't think, because from then on if anyone came to the house, she would eather be behind the couch barking at them, or in one of opur laps growling at them. Kind of like she was afraid someone was going to try and take her away from her home again...Bailey stole our hearts, especially her Nana's, and became a very special part of our lives.... Bailey was cut short in her life by a car accident just shy of her first birthday.. The loss of our Bailey left a large hole in our home and in our hearts.. She was very special and we will miss her always, but we thank God for the time she was in our lives and the joy she brought us...
