Arrival Story:
Sandy has seen a lot in his 14 years. My grandpa John cleaned carpets for a living, and happened on Sandy one day when he was cleaning in an appartment building. . Sandy was just a little puppy in a crate in the hallway, and it was love at first sight. :) My grandpa sought out the owner and bought him that day. From there he lived like a king :) When my grandpa passed away in January of 2006, Sandy waited at the front door for days waiting for him to come home. It was absolutly heartwrenching. Thankfully he still had my Grandma June to look out for him, but then when she passed away in August of 2007, he suddenly was an orphan, and homeless. So my husband and i took him in, and have done our best to fill my grandpa and grandma's shoes. :)

Bio:
Sandy headed to the rainbow bridge to be with grandpa on April 30 at the ripe old age of 15. he will be missed, but now he can run and play and be with the one person he always loved the best.
