Hambone Award

Toby didn't win the Hambone Award but was happy that he was in the running. He did get a $50.00 gift card and a very nice key bone from VPI Pet insurance Company. He wants to thank them. The winner will be on the Rachael Ray show sometime in Oct and just maybe Tobys Picture will be on her show. I hope so anyway. We will have to wait to see. They could show all the 12 dogs and cats that ran for this Award.

Part of the gift card will be used for Toby to go to doggie day camp and have fun with other dogs soon.

Hambone Award voting started Sept.1 till Sept 14

Hi all , just wanted to let you all know that The Hambone Award voting has started Sept.1 2009 to Sept 14th, If you want to vote for any of the animals go to www.vpihamboneaward.com. Toby is in the running for his trouble with a round bone that had to be sawed off his mouth. I remember that day as if it was yesterday. I'm happy that I had pet insurance on him that helped pay some of the bill. I think every dog and cat owners should think about this kind of insurance. We insure our kids and dogs and cats are part of our family so why not insure them? Toby is doing good but he runs the house these days. lol...Ha.. ha..Loves his walks loves to play with other dogs in the backyard. Barks at all the dogs that walk by our house. Has a ball at doggie day camp when I take him. He hates to ride in cars or trucks not like my last dog Jay who passed away over one year now. And I still do miss him. I also had pet insurance on him. Everytime I remember Jay I think of the Dog Food Recall. He was one of those dogs that ate some of that food.

Hambone Award

I'm still in the running for the Hambone Award givin out by VPI Pet Insurance. In Sept. 2009. I've also been in the Omaha News Paper I feel like a star. When the round bone got stuck on my mouth I sure wasn't happy at all. I now feel good and like to run around and play all day long.
