Birthday: April 1st 2001 Arrival Story: It was our intent to adopt a smaller, younger dog. But when visiting PetSmart, the manager told us about a "Cock-a-Poo" that she was looking to place. She told us he had come from a home with another dog who attacked Buster on two occasions. Being the other dog had been with the family for a long time, they chose to give Buster up for adoption. It was difficult to place him a home because he had become dog-agressive. By the time we first saw him he had been in a cage at a kennel for over 10 weeks. The cage really wasn't large enough for him and he had obviously been sitting in his own urine. Nevertheless, I fell in love with his sweet face and his robust personality. So we took him home as a "foster" dog for a two-week trial. He is extremely dog-agressive, but absolutely perfect in every other way. There never was a doubt that he would remain with my husband and me. We spent a lot of resources attempting to break him of the agression, but it was not possible. However, he has now been a member of our family for over five years, and I could never envision such joy. Bio: There's not much more to say about Buster except that he is a fun-loving lug who makes me laugh like no sitcom ever could. I've Been On Dogster Since:
