Arrival Story: Sandi was adopted by my daughter, son-in-law and grandson in August of 2007. She was 6 weeks old and quickly bonded with her new family. They all love her so dearly but soon realized that it wasn't good for Sandi to be home alone so often while both adults worked full time. Nevertheless, she was and is a part of their family and they were determined to do everything that they could to give her a good life.
When they went away on vacation for two weeks Sandi came to stay at our house. We all realized that she would be much happier here with her own little pack and in a place where someone is at home all day to take care of her.
I know that Sandi's 1st family would not have given her up to anyone else, but having her here with her 2nd family allows her 1st family to remain a part of her life.
She seems very happy and both of her families are grateful to have her in our pack. :-)
Bio: Sandi is a very lucky girl. She has two families who love her and a big back yard where she can play with her pack of big brothers.
