Happy Thanks-Gibbin'!!!!

Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy, it's my favorite time of year! The house is gonna smell so good, and me and Shaney will get special turkey dinners!! WHOOHOO! Yummy yummy yum, I can't wait!!

I love this time of year so much, that I coldn't help but send turkys out to my pals! (Sorry for those of you I missed, bt I'm fresh out of rosettes for a few weeks now!)

I sure am going to miss having piles of leaves to jump in though. Mommy says the trees in Cauliforna are evergreen and the leaves dont change colors and fall off. I knew there was somethin wrong with this place! :s

So.. maybe some of you guys can send me some leaves? I love to romp and jump in them.. hehhee.. :D

Well, as much as I hate to admit it, I LOVE My new sisser Shane Lu! We have so much fun together!

First thing in the morning we get eachother out of bed and start playin'! Then Grampa Chuck gives us breakfast, and we cuddle up and relax for a while..

THEN...

The fun begins!

We play and play and play and play and play and play and play and play and play and play and play and play and play and play and play and play and play and play and play and play and play and play and play and play and play and play!

Life has been looking up!

Well, we had a sad few weeks there for a while, but things are starting to look up!

First exciting thing, I went to the beach!

A good lesson when you go to the beach: If you get sand in your eyes, do not rub your whole head in the sand, it doesn't fix the problem! Gee I'm glad I have Mommy!

Other than that, I had a great time! The water is very strange though, it chases you! I'm glad the water in my bowl at home doesn't do that!

Another fun thing is we went to a puggy play day in Long Beach (this city isn't the beach, but there is a beach in the city, in a different part of it, Mommy says. Sheesh the names humans come up with for things are so weird! ) Well anyway, it's the first Saturday morning of every month and there is a lot of Puggies there to play with!

I was also helping Mommy and Gramma garden the other day.. I had found a tasty treat too, but Mommy pulled it out of my mouth and then started shouting.

Well I think dead lizards are a gourmet treat! Humph!

The thing is I have been lonely for animal companionship lately.. since Gramma's doggie (My greyhound sister) crossed the Rainbow Bridge.. And Mommy Gramma and Granpa Chuck have been sad since then too.. they decided something needed to be done.. sooooo Gramma is gonna adopt me a new sister from the local pug rescue! YEYYYYY! We're waiting to hear if we've been approved yet, but Mommy is convinced that we're in. BOL

So anyhow, thats my life lately!

Oh Yeah, I turn 2 really soon! August 7th! Whoohoo!

Peaches went to Heaven.

I looked around the house for her last night, but I couldn't find her. Mommy told me that last night Peaches left us to go to heaven. I am so sad. I Peaches became my big sister, and my best friend in April. We played together and she is the only dog I've ever cuddled up to sleep with. I miss her. I want her to come back home so we can play. Gramma says she is never coming back home, but I will be able to play with her again someday, in a better place.

I gave Mommy and Gramma lots of kisses. I don't want them to be so sad, but I am sad too. I want Peaches to come back home.

Hello Everydoggy,

I feel this is a very important message to share with you all. This morning at 4:30 I woke up and started throwing up. I threw up 5 or 6 times in less than two hours. I was rushed to the vet as soon as they opened, and had x-rays and tests performed. It turns out that I have pieces of Edible Nylabone stuck in my tummy and intestines, and my intestines are red and swollen now. I am very sick and on antibiotics. Hopefully I will be able to pass the pieces on my own out the front or back, either way would be a blessing right now, or I will need to have surgery.

Heed this warning; Edible Nylabones are not safe, they are as bad as Greenies. It doesn't matter if your mommies are watching you or not, because my Mommy was watching me while I ate it,and it made no difference. If this can happen to me, it can happen to you.

"The Most Well-Travelled Dog"

Well folks, I made it to Cauliforna!

Boooyyyy was iot a long trip, Mommy says we went throught 2 countries, 10 states, and a province!

I feel like I been around thge world. It took us 4 days to get to Gramma's house, and it was quite a trip.

This is how it wen't for me:

First we left my other Mamma Tanya, and me an Mommy J were really sad. Mommy J even cried when we were leavibn cause Tanya is her best friend too (not just my best friend!)

Then we was driving and driving and driving. I just sleep most of the time in the car, cause it gets pretty boring.

The first place we stopped to go peepees was what Mommy called a truck stop, which I soon learned is where you feed yourself and the car and go peepees before you get back into the car for a long time. The car musta been really hungry cause it costed a lot to feed it! SDhe says this was in a place called Michigan.

Next we crossed the border from Canada to the US. It went ok except Mommy left me alone in the car for a little bit, and I didn't like it. I had to protect our stoff from this man in funny clothes who was talking to mommy, so I did what any good pug would do and turned on my barker!

Then this lady came and took away all my food, and said Canadian dog food isn't allowed in the states. That is weird, isn't it? This was good news for me though, since Mommy ended up getting some yucky canned food from a store, and I wouldn't eat it, so I got to have HOOMAN FOOD the rest of the trip!!! MMMMM! Hadda egg for breakfeast every day.. lucky me!

Then later that day we stopped at another truck stop in Indiana. I was pretty disappointed when we had to get back in the car again. Little did I know this woyuld be the first day of a lonnnng trip.

Good thing, a few hours later we stoppedf at a place mommy called a hotel. It's kinda like a bedroom, but you know it isn't your bedroom at home, it's fake. It was ok though, and you know what?? A couple hours later This guy came and Mommy said that he ius her daddy and my Papa and that he was gonna go the rest of the trip with us!! Whoohoo!! Someone to play with me in the car!! (when I want to of course, I much rather sleep in the car!)

My Papa is a nice guys and I really like him. He really likes me too! We played and played and played and played when we met him that night at the hotel. Mommy says that place was called Ill-annoy. Funny name huh?

My Papa liked me so much he was saying he might get a pug as a companion dog to his doggy Smokey! Haha! We puggies are so charming.

So the next day we drove and drove and drove some more. We went through a couple more states,Ill-Annoy, Iowa and Nebraska. When we were goin through Iowa, we stoppedf at a rest area and were attacked by disgusting bugs! They were all over me and mommy and she was paniking. She made Papa wipe them off us. They werer so gross! Never go to rest stops in Iowa. Besides bugs, Iowa is really boring, as well as most of Nebraska... Nebraska is REALLY boring. I slept the whole time.

The second night we stopped in Nebraska at another hotel. That was pretty much all that happened that day, it wasn't very eventful except for the bugs.

The next dayt we went through Nebraska,

The third day we drove through Nebraska, Colorado and Utah. Colorado is GEORGEOUS!!! I loved the mountains and Glenwood Canyaon.. Mommy and papa loved it too. and guess what?!?! Some of those dumb Iowa bugs were still in our car and mommy found them and started paniking again. She was all paranoid and felt itchy all over! Silly hoomans! That night we stayed at another hotel in Utah.

The next day we drove through Utah, Nevada, Arizona, and then finally Cauliforna. I got all excited when mommy said we were in Cauliforna since she had been talking about it for a long time, but wqe still had to stay in the car for a few hours before we could stop at Grammas house.

Anyhow, to make my long story short, we got here safely, and my mommy started me on a new food, Neutro Natural Blend Lamb Meal & Rice Small Bites. It's yummy! It's the first kibble I've liked! She says thats a good thing. So the last few days I been getting used to my new house, and my new "sister" Peaches, a Greyhound! She is so big! I dfon't think she likes me yet, but I'm working on her!

This place is so different!

Mommy says its a house, not an apartment like where we used to live, and we have a back yard here! So far it seems like a back yard is a small park that nobody can go into but your family! That's pretty cool, but I'm still checking it out. I'm also learning how to use the "doggy" door. It's triucky but I'm getting it!

OH YEAH!, before I forget,

When I got here I had a suprise waiting for me! I had a spiffy new collar from retro-pet.com! I won first place in the FLOPOrange contest and Java, Howie and Winnie's nice Mommy made sure I got this cool prize! Thanks everyone! I love my new collar, mommy says I look Handsome! :D

Movin' to Cauliforna!

I'm gettin more scared and sad the more I think bout this.. :(

My Mommy Jacquie been talkin recently that for a few months we're gonna go live in Cauliforna. It sounds exciting! She told me there's a dog beach! I dunno what a beach is but I like anything that has the word dog infront of it!

We're gonna live wit my Gramma and her Greyhound Peaches! Mommy sez I met Greyhounds afore an I liked them but I can't remember.

She sez its hot there all the time and there's no snow.. I LIKE SNOW GOSH DARN IT!

But She says there's something called air condenting and it makes it stay nice and cool in the house wen it's really hot owside. I guess I could get to like that! Here when it's hot she an Mommy Tanya just set up some little fans on the floor for me.. but it dun work too well..

Yeah I think I could get to liking air condenting..

I'm gonna miss all my friends too.. and my home.. neber lived anyplace else..

I'm really gonna miss Mommy T.. She isn't coming with us..Mommy J says she is our roommate.. so she isn't coming.. she's staying in Canada. I hope I get to see her gain.. She is my bestest friend. :( I'm really gonna miss her and now I can't stop thinking about leaving her. I'll miss my cat brudder Marley too.. Mommy J says Mommy T is his mommy in the way my mommy is MY mommy.. *sighs* I'm leavin my famlee...

The Snow! The Snooooow!

Geeze I don't think I ever had this much fun wen it was cold outside before. Momma J took me for a walk down the block last night and she said I was "frolicking" or something like that... All I know is I saw the snow covering the ground for the first time in a bery bery long time and I just had to run in it! AND it gets even better.. there was LEAVES under the snow! It was a double treat to run and hop all over them! Momma J sez I neber liked the snow this much before, but I sure liked it last night! She sez we'll see how much you like it in Febrew-airy when you haven't seen grass for 3 months.. I don't know what she's talkin about.. there's still grass.. The snow just came last night! Oh so much fun!

I love visiting Auntie Valerie's! & Howl-O-ween

Visiting Auntie Valerie's is like a vacashun every time! Even though Mommy J always says no hooman trewts now, since she thinks I'm getting pudgy, (Even though me an Mommy T don't think so!) I get all kindsa treats here! Michelle gibs me big bowls of pisgetti! I like pisgetti! I don't think I ever had that at home before! I'm always such a good boy wen I visit there too.. they have no idea of the truble I cause at home! Marley doesnt come there most of the time since his bruder Poco who lives there is really mean. He always tries to beat me and Marly up! Why would he do that? I'm a nice guy! I jus stay away from him now. Lately my Mommies have been talkin bout something.. I think it's called Howl-o-ween. What is that? It sounds like something made up for doggies! I hope so! Momma T says we're all gonna dress like vampires and give stuff to kids who come to our house. They sed it's called trick or treat. I LOVE TREATS! I just hope that a vampire isn't another silly sweater that they put on me!
