Arrival Story:
Originally, Moony was owned by three seperate people. The first person who bought her found that they simply couldn't handle her. They sold her in the Gazette Classifieds to a family with a young child, who failed to tell them that they lived in an apartment. After a short time, they found that Moony could not handle being in an apartment. They gave her to the mother of Moony's first owner, who found that the children in her daycare were terrified of her. She put out an ad for a "Boxer/Lab mix" in the same classifieds at the beginning of September. Eleven days earlier (on the sixth of that month), our oldest dog, Duke, passed away at the age of twelve. We found the ad, called and made plans to meet them the next day. The minute we saw Moony, not only did we find that she wasn't a boxer/lab, but a pitbull/lab, we also found that she was the perfect dog for us. She crawled into my lab and attacked me with kisses.
