Weekend fun

Well I had a good weekend! Saturday I ran around and played at my house with mommy. We had a lot of fun!

Sunday I went down to grandma and grandpa's house in Maryland and met my cousins Bella and Merle! I am really trying to work on socializing. We played nice and I enjoy meeting new family! I also got to run around in their HUGE yard which I really enjoyed! I was so wiped out, I slept all the way home!

Play date

*Yawn* I guess it's time to get up! Last night night I went over and visited my "cousin" Jinx! She's my mommy's best friend's new puppy! She's a rottweiler, so she's a bit bigger than me!

We played in the yard a bit, chilled inside, and played some more outside until it got dark! Jinx was busy eating his "busy bone" when I came and snuck around and stole it... more than once! But he wasn't mad at all. So right now I need to learn about sharing... and not stealing other pups treats!

I am going to start puppy training classes on September 6, so hopefully I will be one well behaved pup!

3 months old!

So yesterday I turned 3 months! But it wasn't a good day... when mommy came home and let me out in the backyard I was so excited to see her that I tried to jump up on the deck and sprained my leg :-( I looooove to follow mommy everywhere and she just wasn't thinking leaving me in the yard and going back inside to get my food! I was sore for a bit, but slowly as the night went on I started to feel better! Life is tough for a such a little puppy with tiny legs but such big ambitions! So today I plan to sleep... just like every other day! ;-) and I did hear mommy mention somethng about giving me a bath when I she gets home from work tonight so we'll see!

Other than that, I'm really excited about my new home! I have 3 siblings... 2 cats (Sasha and Baloo) and a rabbit named Holly. The cats weren't too sure about me at first. From what I hear, they've never seen a puppy before! But now they've calmed down a bit... as long as everyone has their own space! They don't like to get too close to me because I love to lick! Also, I have found an extreme liking to the cats favorite toy which isn't going over too well! I am just too small for my own toys right now!
