Arrival Story:
Dali is a 7 year-old chow/shepherd mix available for adoption through the Richardson Humane Society! She's a big, sweet girl that would be very devoted to whoever adopts her as she is currently extremely devoted to her foster mom. She's not too great around other dogs because she tends to be territorial and protective of her owner. At the same time, her foster mom reports that she has been known to get along ok with male dogs that are similar is size at the local off-leash dog park. She is crate-trained, house-trained, leash-trained, spayed, fully vetted and in general a pretty happy go lucky dog. Her bark is loud and worthy of her breeds' natures, and that has been a deterrent for people looking into adopting a dog from us. However, her bark is a lot, lot, lot worse than her bite. :) I should add that I am not Dali's foster mom, but I will pass any inquiries onto her that I get. :)

Richardson Humane Society is a 501(c)3 based out of Richardson, TX in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. We adopt dogs and sometimes cats out within a 50 mile radius of Richardson. If you are looking for a dog but are not within that 50 mile radius, we highly encourage you to check out your local shelters and rescues instead as there are always great dogs everywhere in need of a great home.
