Hi from Diesel!

Hi! My name is Diesel. I am ten months old. I love to run and fetch and swim, but my favorite thing to do is to jump into the water! I can run down the neighbor's dock and go really far and I can do it all day long without getting tired! Maybe that’s why my dad calls me Turbo Diesel. I especially like showing off to the neighbors and the neighborhood dogs. When they come over, I swim figure eights around them all and take their sticks before they can get to them! It’s great!

I like my new friend, too. I’m not used to sharing my toys, but he’s okay. I like to play with whatever he is playing with, but only if he is playing with it first. Then I want it. It’s nice to have someone to show all of my favorite things to. I’ve shown him how to go down to the creek, where the neat trails are, and how to jump off the dock, but he doesn’t like it as much as I do. He’s also good at keeping me company. I rarely let him out of my sight. It’s fun to have someone to torment all of the time. My dad calls him Richard Pryor in The Toy, but I don’t think I’m that bad.

The one thing I’m not used to is the way this guy eats! I’m used to having my food sit out all day and I eat as I please. This new guy can wolf down a whole bowl of food in two minutes flat and I can hardly keep up. Hopefully he’ll calm down a little and we can go back to having our food out all of the time. But I’m glad he’s here.
