Arrival Story:
Just ready to become a "Mom".

Spencer's Story: Hi, my name is Spencer. Well my life began on 7/1/06 with 5 brother s & sisters. Time for us all to part ways so the "want adds" began. One day I overheard a conversation saying someone was coming over to look at us and they are very interested in Puppy#3...BOO-HO, I was puppy #5. In order for me to find a new home I would really have to turn on the charm when the person arrived. So there it was "Labor Day Weekend" and the doorbell rings. Wow, it was the hot chick with a home all by herself, boy what I could do with my own Kingdom so the test was on, charm, charm, charm..And the winner is "Puppy #5 (that was me)" I am such a little devil...but boy was it worth it. We arrived at my new home an I could not wait to start ruling. So we began to start settling in but little did my Mom know that I was very sick. Not knowing whether I would make it or not we made several trips to the local vet & with medication and lots of love I was determined to stay around. It took awhile but before long it was time for me to step up to the plate and start my puppy duties. I then made sure that I chewed up all the plants in the back yard, dug holes, pillows, lotions, shoes, books, shirts & refuse to walk on a lease putting my Mom in the emergency room with a sprained ankle. "Yes this was fun". As the months passed I just kept up the test only to find out that she really did love me & maybe it was time for me to turn it down a notch and settle down a bit. Now that I have just turned "2" yrs old I don't get a many "time outs" anymore & she does not threaten me with a little brother or sister. I am still the "King". What a great place to live...but just to keep her on her toes I still occasionally open the lotions in the middle of the night and make a mess all over the carpet with them and just the other day I chewed up a couple of plastic spoons from the kitchen with food on them. All & all things are great here with me rulling the roost as her #1 son . Thanks Mom, I Love You, Spencer.

Hi pups, I must tell you about my weekend. It is monday night an I am DAWG tired.....you see, Mom got us up really early on Sat. morning which is quite unusal for her. She likes to sleep in so I thought something must be going on...Come on Mom, what is it I was thinking. No bags were packed so we couldn't be going to stay at the doggy hotel!!!!. As I finished my breakfast an awaited to see why we were up so early on a sat morning she put my harness on an I knew that could only mean one thing. Yippee,,,,,I am going bye-bye. As she loaded us up in the truck our friend Dennis shows up. This was pawsome I thought to my self. So the journey begins, we drove about and hour or so and then arrived at this wonderful piece of land. Mom gets out and opens the door and off we went....Yes, no leases were involved. We were on 25 acres to run free and wild. As we explored all of the surrounding I thought to myself what could be better than this. We (me & sis Mya) ran like crazy sniffing out all the new smells and running through the creek (mom called it) I really don't know what that thing was but it sure felt good and tasted good. It was about 90 something degree and dawg hot out there but that was not going to stop me. My one chance to act somewhat like a farm dog and not like a city dog. We saw cows from a far but mom would not let us go that far away. I tell you pups, I must have drank 20 bowls of water but it all came out, there were even PEE TREE'S there for me to relieve myself at.

As all things must come to and end we loaded up to come home. As I looked out the window thinking what a wonderful day this has been. We arrive home and get some rest for a bit only to load up once again to go somewhere else. Come on mom, what next????? OMD, we are at the local Petsmart in the grooming sections.....Groom me, Stop-it, I have short hair......A BATH, yes it is true pups, after getting to run free and roll around in nature what does mom do but take us to get a bath.

Well, it was fun while it lasted acting and smelling like a farm dog but now all is back to normal, me and my sweet smelling body living back in the city sleeping with Mom in a bed, living behinds bricks and wooden fences.

Until next time pups, enjoy being a dog when when you can................

She can "BARK"

Hey pups, me Spencer here. Well as you already know I was an only pup until my mom decided to get me a little sister. Yes her name is Mya and she is really one little pain in the Wiggle Butt. Now I have to share half of my mom which I really don't like but I sure do like to have her around to play with. Today was a very important and wonderful day fur our family.....You say why???? Mya can "BARK", since she came to live with us last Oct she has not "BARKED" one word. She appears to be a normal girl pup and plays, and is always chasing me around the back yard biting on my hind leg. Hind Leg, yes, that really get's me mad but today we were playing in the back yark and the neighbor's dog was on the other side of the fence trying to communacate with us through a little hole in the fence. As I stood back and watched my little sister have so much fun I suddenly heard something come out of her month. Yes it was a :BARK" yeppie, my little sis can talk...I mean Bark. I am so very proud of her cause maybe now she is finally overcoming some of her issues from the past...

I am not sure if this is a good thing or not her being a girl an all but just wanted to let the world know that I have a normal little sister and she can bark & chew on my hind leg all she wants to.....

My very special day

Hi pups, well I was told this morning that it is a very special day. Something called a Birthday????? Yes that would be me, I am 3 yrs old today. OMD, does time past by fast or what?

Mom's alarm goes off at the regular time 4:00 am and everythings seems normal but she all of a suddens starts singing to me? No offense or anything but she doesn't carry a tune very well an all I could hear was "Spencer is a Birthday Boy he is a Birthday Boy"...well I guess that is me??? Next thing I know is I have scrambled eggs & bacon in my food bowl, what is that all about I ask??? Then the tune-less song starts again " Spencer is a Birthday Boy he is a Birthday Boy". I finally ran into my room where I stay when mom is at work. Not that song again, please Mom shut the heck up!!!!!!

Anyway, it was my 3rd birthday and I must say that it was great...All my pals at BT showed up and brought me gift and wished me well. I had so much fun at my b-day pawty although mom had to work and we arrived late. All my pals are the bestest and I am so glad that I belong to such a wonderful group and site where everyone really cares about each other.

So now as the end of the day approaches I am one pooped out little pup "OLDER" pup with all the attention I got today. If this isn't the life of one happy little PUP then I don't know what would make it any better. I am 3 today and can't wait til my next B-Day pawty.....Life is good when it is reconized by all you pup pals and family.
