WOO HOO! I'm one of the DDP's ! That's a great and happy surprise . I wrote about the cat's Chick-A-Dee-Chirp's BOL! They are fun. Thank you HQ fur picking me, thank you pal's fur the pmail's and rosette's, thank you flicka fur the plaque. You all are so sweet ! It's been a wonderful day.

Chick-A-Dee-Chirp's !

I bet some of you are wondering what a Chick-A-Dee-Chirp is. It's a birdie cat toy that look's like a little sparrow and chirp's loud and long. My kitty sister's and brother's have seven of those thing's. Well Nelly Bell May goes hunting at night and piles them up by the living room doorway. Almost everynight. It can get a little loud but I'll admit it's also cute. She is a sweet kitty. Sometimes I chase her BOL! I like to chase her and the yellow/orange boy's. I never hurt them, I just want to play. Jerry , Emily and Tinkerbell are the only ones that play with us doggies. They even share the cat toy's. When I get one of those birdies mommy alway's takes it away. Oh well there are more!

Live Like A Dog!

Our furiend DeeDee posted this in a group and it's very worth repeating.
So live like a dog:
Live simply.
Love generously.
Care deeply.

Remember, if a dog was the teacher you would learn things like:
When loved ones come home, always run to greet them.

HERE IN THIS HOUSE: An animal's prayer

Here in this house...
I will never know the loneliness that I hear in the cries of the other animals 'out there.'
I can sleep soundly, assured that when I wake my world will not have changed.
I will never know hunger, or the fear of not knowing if I will eat.
I will not shiver in the cold, or grow weary from the heat, but rather, I will nap in the sun's warmth, and play in the rain's coolness, and be allowed to smell all that can reach my nose.
My fur will shine and never be dirty or matted.

Here in this house...
There will be an effort to communicate with me on my level.
I will be talked to, and, even if I don't understand, I can enjoy the warmth of the words spoken to me in kindness.
I will be given a name so that I may know who I am among many.
My name will be used in love and joy, and I will relish the sound of it!

Here in this house...
I will never be a substitute for anything I am not.
I will never be used to improve peoples' image of themselves.
I will be loved because I am who I am, not someone's idea of who I should be.

I will never suffer for someone's anger, impatience, or stupidity.
I will be taught all the things I need to know to be loved by all. I will be praised for my successes, instead of punished too harshly for my mistakes.
If I do not learn my lessons well, they will look to my teacher for blame.

I can trust arms that hold, hands that touch...
knowing that, no matter what they do, they do it for the good of me.

I will never be cast out because I am too old, too ill, too unruly, or not cute enough.
I will not be left behind because my humans moved - I will move with them.
If a new human baby joins my family, it will not 'replace' me,
but instead will be one more human for me to love, and to love me.
I will not be treated as disposable.
My life is a responsibility, and not an afterthought.
I will learn that humans can almost, sometimes, be as kind and as fair as other animals.

Yesterday, Sat. early evening a sweet pup named Lexi ID# 781828 went on to Rainbow Bridge. She alway's has something uplifting and happy to say to all . Lexi and all my family play at PIF, Paw It Forward. A great group. They have the best parties there. Many fur's know her. In Lexi's diary entry she said she will still be here on dogster. I'm glad for that. It wouldn't be the same without her. Please say a prayer for Lexi, her sisfur Monnie and their mommy. She touched so many and will alway's be in their heart's. A most beautiful angel.

New Nickname

I have a new nickname. Pop Tart ! Our grandson Coal call's me that. BOL ! He is three year's old and a very sweet boy. We help mommy babysit him and his one year brother Parker. They run and crawl with us doggies. We have the most fun outside. They can throw more toy's for us there. But we do all play inside to. Sometime's one of them gives us a nibble of a snack. We have them trained. BOL !

Yummy

Home made dog cookies are great ! mommy just made some and they are so yummy for the tummy. We watched her and when they were all baked and cooled we got some. Then we all went out and played. It's been sunny but some cloud's are rolling in. Might even rain later. have a great day pup's !

Happy Memorial Day !

Happy Memorial Day to all ! Let's remember those that have and are giving up their today's so we can have a tomorrow. Bless them !
Thank's HQ for all the free yummy gift's. WOW! We have been getting so many. With a family of 13 mommy's been busy trying to send some back. If we have missed anyone , we're sorry. Don't mean to hurt any feeling's.
We like the new dog/catster site layout. Many don't. It takes time but we found thing's. We had an issue with a stroll and contacted dogster. They got back to us in less then 24 hour's and helped.
Have a great and very happy weekend. Don't eat to many hamburger's. BOL!

Odd Weather !

This morning just about 8:30 we had snow ! It was like soap powder's. The sky was sunny then a dark cloud rolled in and it snowed for about five minutes. I don't think that has happened here on this date ever. There was also a strong wind. It was very strange. But then the dark cloud left and it stopped. It's been sunny and windy all day. Mommy has some lilac bushes and they are in full bloom. Oh they smell so good. Friday I helped mommy plant marigold seed's in the back yard along the fence. I was a good pup. I would sit at each fence post and watch mommy dig then drop in some seed's and cover them up. Then we moved on to the next one. We planted by five fence panel's. Marigold's are pretty and bright. I also supervised the hanging up of the Humming Bird Feeder's. We have two in front that mommy did without help and two out back that I watched her do. BOL ! Don't know what she would do without my help. That's what she say's to. Have a great day pup's !
