Bailey is deaf and partially sighted. She was dumped on a motorway at the age of about 9 months by her breeder and it is estimated she was out in the open for over a week, judging by the state of her coat, her bleeding, raw paws, eyes so infected that they were completely sealed (took 3 days to clean them sufficiently to open them again) and the fact that she simply wanted to die. Luckily a Dane rescue organisation found her and gave her the chance to find a reason to live again - to be a treasured, irreplaceable part of our family...
Bio:
Bailey is very famous deaf dog, educating people in how deaf dogs can be fantastic companions. She is trained to an advanced standard and her website has had in excess of 8,000 hits! She gets email from all over the world and is a credit to her breed and to disabled dogs.
