My pal Pepper just got back from an adventure in Mendocino! That's a furry dog-furiendly place! We go there evfurry fall. Her diary reminded me that I haven't written anything about my adventure in Carmel, and that was a week ago!

We left furry early on Friday morning and drove down the ocean road, with a couple of stops along the way fur sniffing and treats. We arrived in Carmel around lunch time, and headed straight fur the shops. My pawrents both like to shop, but I can't help them anyplace else in the world. In Carmel I can go evfurrywhere with them! All the shops have water bowls and treat baskets and dog petters! I had a wonderfur time! After din-din (eating with my pawrents at an outdoor Mexican restaurant--I got my kibble), we walked down to the beach to watch the sun go down. We made furiends with three young men from Norway who took my picfur!

The next morning it was foggy and cold, but we went down to the beach anyway. Daddy and I walked from HERE all the way down THERE and all the way back again. I met about a bazillion other dogs, including TWO ZAIDIES!! Their picfurs are in my Photo Book. Mommy tried to follow us, but she's a lot slower, BOL!!!

After that, we went back up into town fur more shopping. Mommy isn't slow about that, BOL!! We went into every, every shop, and I got petted and petted and petted. And THEN the best part of all! They have a restaurant with a whole patio that's just fur doggies and their pawrents! And there's a whole special doggie menu! Daddy helped me order some grilled chicken strips, and they brought me a big bowl of water! OMD, I was in doggie paradise!! (They sell T-shirts in Carmel that say that, but daddy didn't get one because the picfur on it isn't a cocker spaniel! BOL!!)

After that we went back home. I had a wonderfur time in Carmel, but I sure like my couch!!

Hershey, your fambily headed south and mine north and we still haven't crossed paths yet! Woofs! Sumday we gotsta rectify that!

Anywoofs, Carmel is supposta be one of the dog furiendliest places ever! Your experience confirms it! That restaurant sounds fabarkulous! I gotsta get down that way sumptime!

BOL, you're right, Pepper! We have to get our pawrents to coordinate better! Carmel is pawsome! And, I furgot to write about Diggidy Dog, the best doggie emporium on the PLANET!!!

I know your feelings Hershey...I am having some trouble getting growlmy to take down some dogtations about a loose dog...and stuff that she should not be allowed to furget to post...but now she just got a call fur a job interview...ACK my times here are going to be cut short...woe is me...

Mom doesn't know when she might get to visit Brother. He is there until Dec. Dad gets home in Sept. Maybe they can go visit sometime in there.
I dunno.

I enjoyed reading about your trip Hershey.
I like doggie furiendly places. We don't have many of them here. If I was not a Therapy dog, I would hardly get to visit anywhere...Huggs!
