See my new "DO"

Here it is, my new DO. Look on my page, and the first one is me, can you believe it! I just love my new hair. I can play without getting really really hot. And guess what? It only takes about 5 minutes to comb and brush me at night. Mommy still has to mess with my eyes, but other than that, it is a breeze. Yaaaaaa!!!!! Mommy and daddy has decided they like this cute, and is going to keep me like this. I can wear a nice little coat in the mornings now if I want to. We will wait until it gets a bit colder though.

Mommy did it!!!!

She cut my hair. I feel so free and fluffy. Mommy is having mixed emotions about it, but I feel great. Mommy wants to cry one minute, and then just smiles and remembers me as when I was a puppy. Mommy will post a picture soon. Max can't believe it. He keeps coming to me and sniffing. We played our little hearts out last night. It was great. Most of the time I couldn't play too long, because I would get so hot. Let's see if mommy keeps me this way, or lets it grow back out. I hope I can stay short.

Is Mommy really gonna cut my hair!!!!????

Mommy is talking about cutting my hair! I don't know what to think about that. Sometimes mommy thinks I can't be a puppy, because of all this hair. I was gonna run around the yard with Katie Jo and Max this last weekend, and I had to get out of the grass because of all the grass clippings. Dang it!!!

Mommy wants to take me down to about 2 inches all over except for the face. She would shorten that up somewhat, but not as short as the body. Mommy gets really sad when she looks at me though. She has worked so hard to get me to look like this.

She is thinking about keeping me long until Spring, but then taking it shorter. I wonder what I would look like??? Daddy says I would beautiful no matter what haircut I have. He really loves me, bol.

When will you learn that I am the Princess of all Princess'? I will eat your food when your back is turned. I will wait for you to stop growling, and let me in. Oh, and when I want to see my mommy or Gammy, you can't head me off at the pass, and give me a dirty look.

You see, I am Meisha! The sooner you learn that, the better friends we will be. I love my, and your, toys, so get used to it. I will take them as I see fit, even if they are in your mouth. Ask Max.

Ahhhhhhh Vacation

I haven't made an entry lately, because we have been on vacation. It was very nice. Mommy and Daddy just stayed home for 8 days with Max and me. They had a garage sale, which I got tired of right away. Mommy was working in the garage and outside, and I didn't get to go out to see her very often. Mommy was afraid I would get hit by a car if nobody was watching me.

Today I went for my annual shots. OUCH!!!!!! Mommy held me while Dr. Stacey gave me the shots. The first one wasn't bad, but I knew the second one was coming when Dr. Stacey pinched my skin. I am glad that is over! I got a purple star for my tag to put on my collar, like I ever where it other than to go potty at the Spa, bol. It matts my little hair.

Mommy talked with Dr. Stacey about a teeth cleaning for Max and me. Dr. Stacey said my teeth are in great shape, but Max has to go for a cleaning, bol. He is going to be so made when he hears about that. I'm not telling him!!!!

My mommy and daddy bought a retired show dog from the same breeder I came from. Nope, they didn't keep her. She was a gift for my Gammy and Gampa. Her name is Katie Jo. Her show name was Ring of Fire. She is a white and red color, and is a very sweet girl. She is very protective of her food. She growls at me when I come by her bowl, but guess what? She gets in her bowl and puts one piece of food out on the floor for me to eat. That's it, one piece. Isn't that nice!!! She got in trouble by my mommy, because we were all playing go get it with the toys, and she attacked me. Well, she sounded mean, but didn't hurt me. She hurt my feelings though. Mommy gave her a little pop on the butt, and told her no, and she hasn't done it since. She is a little bossy, but I am trying real hard to be her best friend. She stayed with me three days while mommy and daddy was off on vacation, and we did great!! I will keep you all up-to-date on my relationship with Katie Jo.

Well, I guess that is about all for now. I think I will go see what bubber is doing, and see if he has a toy I might like to have, bol.

Well finally!!

My mommy finally got a minute to get me on the computer. She is so busy at the Spa, she just has to drop in her recliner when she gets home. I don't like that at all. She is actually booking dogs way up into December, that is crazy!!

The best thing has happened, and I just can't wait. My mommy got on the website of the show dog family she bought me from, and guess what. One of the showdog girls is retiring, and my mommy bought her for my Gammy and Gampa. Her name is Katie Jo. She is red and white, and is beautiful. Me and Max can't wait until Katie Jo travels down to us. Kara, my previous mommy when I was born, said it would be the weekend of Mothers Day. My Gammy is so excited! I can't wait until I can play with her. I am going to go to St. Louis with my mommy and daddy to pick her up when she travels down with another showdog family. It will be pawsome.

I have been being a very good girl while mommy has been working so hard. I like coming home to see Max, and take his toys from him. He is such a good bubber. He never gets mad at me.

Not much else is going on here. The weather is getting very nice. It was almost 90 degrees here today. Boy, can we just ease into summer, and not go head on into it? I look forward to some comfy days out, so I can run after a butterfly or two.

Well, hope all my pals are doing fine, and getting out to enjoy some spring air. I have been going for rides with my daddy at night. Max gets to go too. I enjoy that alot.

Well, pals I have to get brushed and go night night. We have to work at the spa again tomorrow.

Me and Harley

Today I played with my friend, Harley. He is a cute little Shih tzu boy that has long hair like me. He doesn't have a top knot though. My mommy and his mommy like to do the Bon Jovi hair cut on top of his head. It looks way cool. Mommy put a bow in his hair for his mommy one time, and she didn't like it. I thought it looked okay, but I like his "Too cool for school" look better. Harley reminds me of Bingley, ALOT.

Harley and I ate a treat after playing. He didn't leave any in his kennel, so I was a little disappointed when he went home.

I have become a little shy with other dogs at the spa here lately, so mommy is really happy when I get out of my office to play a bit. I guess I am just going through a stage.

Mommy got me some new treats. They are from WalMart, and are all natural little peanut butter paws. Me and my friends have one at the spa when they get done with their baths.

Speaking of baths, I had to have one last weekend. I would rather be sleeping in the office, but here comes mommy telling me it is my turn. Dang!!!! Max has to come to the spa next week and take a bath and get ready for Easter. I think I heard mommy say I was gonna get another one next week too. What is up with that????

Not much is going on here in my little Meisha world. Just hanging out with mommy, and playing with daddy and Max at night. I guess it is about time to go get brushed and combed out before I go night night. I hope all my pup pals are having a great week.

Yuji and Bingley both tagged me, can you believe it? Well here it goes, and look out you 7 that I tag, cause I run fast (2.5 seconds to the end of the hall, bol). Tag 7 of your pals and me back.

1. I curl up on a pillow under my mommy's desk at work, instead of laying on the four poster bed she bought me.
2. I know when my mommy just touches the treat jar at home, even when I am asleep, I come running.
3. I sleep on the floor in the kitchen while mommy is cooking, because I just can't stand to have her out of my sight.
4. I run around the house like a mad dog when my daddy comes home from work. I go right under all the furniture like it isn't there.
5. I love licking my mommy's ear until I have a suction hard enough to pull her eardrum out.
6. I am getting shy at the spa, and hiding in my office when other pups come around. I warm up after a bit though.
7. I love a little bite of cheese if mommy is getting some ready for dinner.

I just can't believe it!!!

I can't believe that my mommy left me at home today while she works at the Spa. She said I would have fun at home with Max and Daddy. Daddy is working on our laundry room. He remodeled it, and is staying home today to finish up on it. So Mommy decides I need to stay home. What is up with that??? Oh well, I will make the best of it, and be really happy to see mommy when she comes home.

Max has been playing with me this morning. He is getting my favorite stuffed bone and keeping it from me. That's alright, I will find where he hides it, and then hide it from him. That will be fun to watch him come back to get it and it won't be there, bol.

I got in trouble yesterday at the spa, because I wouldn't go pee for mommy when she took me outside. Matters of a fact, I didn't go pee until about 7 pm. Mommy got worried, so daddy took over. I went right outside and peed for him. No problem!!! That upsets mommy when I won't go for her. She is so silly, bol.

It is really nice outside today. It is going to be almost 80 degrees again. We are really dry here, and fire issues are popping up all over the Mid-Missouri area. Some farmers were burning off their fields yesterday, and it got out of control. It really scared everybody. I wasn't scared. I could put that fire out in a heartbeat. Maybe by peeing on it, cause I sure had enough saved up.

Gotta go now.

Spring forward this weekend, folks

Dear Diary:

Wow, it has been a long time since I made a diary entry. Mommy has been so busy, she hasn't stopped to get me on my site. I told her today, slow down mommy. I flashed my big eyes at her to say that, but she knows what I want. I have her trained so well.

Me and Mommy have been at the Spa a lot. I have been playing in my office, listening to In A Dog's Ear, and sleeping. Mommy gave me a new toy the other morning because, well she loves me, but she feels bad for working so much. I say whatever brings home the kibbles must be done.

Don't let your mommy and daddy's forget to set the clocks forward this Saturday before going night-night. You will be late for church, or even breakfast. We can't have that!!

Max has been a good boy lately. He has been letting me steal all of the toys out of his mouth, and hasn't growled at me once. I believe my list of laws is sinking in. Yeah, that's it. Max and I took a ride with Mommy and Daddy last weekend, but Max had to go home early. He gets really anxious, and drives Mommy crazy. We stopped for gas, and he either cries all the time or tries to go nuts at other people pumping gas. Mommy calls him her Home Boy, because he just doesn't do well out in public. He gets too nervous. He likes going to gammy and gampa's, but after a short while, he sits and looks at mommy. He is waiting for her to say let's go home. He really likes our house alot. I, however like to travel, and do it quite well. I have one of those fancy high-up sets that allows me to see out the Hummer's windows. I like it when Mommy throws my bankie over the top of it, and I hide all snuggled under it. I just buv that, bol. I usually keep a little toy in there with me in case I get bored and want to chew on something.

Guess what? Mommy has the Spa shut down this weekend, so we are going to sleep in tomorrow. Mommy needs the rest, because she has had a very bad cold, and needs some rest. I heard her telling daddy yesterday that she feels like an old wet rag, bol. Mommy doesn't look like a wet rag. Believe me, I know what a wet rag is. I get facials with those all the time. Mommy looks nothing like that old rag. She looks more like one of my toys, to me anyway. I love licking her, and I will chew on her if I feel like it. Mommy says no no, Meisha. That hurts. I'm a good girl, and do what she says.

Hey, did you all see my new pictures mommy put up? Isn't my hair getting long? I look a lot like my daddy. He is a very pretty showdog. My mommy is very pretty too. They are so pretty. I hope my daddy is doing well in his shows. I wanted a picture of my mommy and daddy for my bedroom, but I can't seem to get the owner to send me one, dang it. I wanted them for over my bed.

Well, I guess that is my thoughts for the night. Not much is happening. I am looking forward to Spring arriving. It was almost 80 degrees out today. Whoooppppeeeee!!
