Arrival Story:
A lady owned him before in Lagos(I live in ABuja) but then she moved back to the UK(where she came form) and her boyfriend,who didn't like the dog-had to keep him. He(the man) put Cookie(the lady called him Cookie)in a room w/newspaper on the floor and hardly ever feed him,gave him baths or combed his hair. A friend(Elena)of my family- who lives in Lagos-knew this man and he ofered Cookie to her she inturn offered him to us-she had a dog already-and we accepted. She cut his fur(cus' it was filthy and knotly),gave him a bath,feed him and brought him to the vet who said,"He has a rotten tooth and you need to trim his nails." When Kusco(we called him that,he didn't answer to Cookie anyway)arrived he was very scared and was dirty and smelled.We shaved his fur short so it would grow better,got his tooth pulled out,ect. Now he barks at strangers(he never barked before) is gainning wieght,and is happy and playful.+ he answers to his name. He is wonderful,even though he isn't really house trained(he was trained to pee on newspapers so he pees on our carpet,ect) I LOVE YOU KUSCO!!!
