Arrival Story: My cousin was getting rid of a 6month old shep/husky mix. ooops, older than six months, and when i took him to the vet they told my i had a wolf/dog. never heard of one before. But he was very aggressive and i tried for a year to find him another home. But he was gonna end up killing my 10 year old dog, or attacking my husband (only when he had food). So one day i put him down. The vet and the humane society which i worked for at the time, told me it was the best thing. I did this on 11/15/2003. I still cry to this day. he was very beautiful, and wolves are extrodinary creatures. And he loved me very much and I loved him. It breaks my heart, but Lobo was sometimes loco. They say there is no place in this world for wolfdogs. others have them and do just fine. I miss him terribly and hope to God that i don't have to put another animal down for a long long time.
