Arrival Story: In Dec 2006 we lost our Buddy to cancer. My daughter has always loved and wanted a Corgi. We went to Petland (I would never buy a puppy from there) to play with the puppies because we were so sad. They had a little female blk tri Corgi we played with and that confirmed we were going to look for a Corgi. My friend who is a vet said that one of her Horse buddies had a corgi that had puppies and she had 1 puppy left. A horse had stepped on his foot and she had kept him to get him checked out. He was fine. All her other puppies were sold. We met her to pick up the puppy and take him to meet my husband at work. We all had to agree on the puppy. We met her and she handed my daughter the puppy and started giving me all this paperwork and wormer. She said that we could have him. I said my husband has to aprove and I couldn't give an answer. She said if we couldn't keep him bring him back. I think she felt sorry for us because of losing Buddy. So off we went to see Daddy at work. Mike held him and played for 45 minutes. So i said what are we going to do? He said it was OK to keep him. We went to the petsore and bought food and all the supplies we needed and when Mike got home we set up the crate for him. WE WENT10 DAYS WITHOUT A DOG!!!!! It took us 2 weeks to name him, its a big decision!!! He was so shy and quiet when he first came to us. He has since turned into a big Daddys boy!!! He sleeps next to Mike everynight. When Daddy comes home from work its the highlight of his day!!!! I think it was fate that the horse stepped on his foot and she kept him. He was meant to be our little boy. The Groups I'm In: ♥♥♥ CLUB CORGI ♥♥♥ I've Been On Dogster Since:
