Arrival Story:
Adopted Maddie from petfinder.com / Herding Dog Rescue in NY. Apparently she was an owner surrender. Her adoption paperwork said she was a purebred Picardy Shepherd, but she doesn't look like it. Her ears are a bit droopy (which I love) -- they stick out rather than up. Maddie is only 36 lbs., so maybe she was the runt of the litter? She looks like a terrier mix with the most unique coat ever. It doesn't really matter though, because she is the sweetest and most eager to please dog I've met in a while.

Bio:
She is definitely some kind of herding dog, as she likes to herd the two French Bulldogs around the office. Despite having four dog beds, Maddie likes to sleep underneath my bed.
