For a little over a week my blood was in the lab. Today, the results came in!!
Ready for it? (We did the test where they look for 100 breeds or whatever rather than 50)
"Results like Lily's are found in about 70% of mixed breed dogs in the U.S. Lily's ancestry contains distant traces of Basset Hound(BH), Collie(COL), Shetland Sheepdog(SHE), and Shiba Inu(SI). There are also faint signals from other breeds which are not strong enough to identify."
Pretty cool, huh?? Mom says she does see Shiba in my face(at least it looked very similar to the one in the breed book). We don't see much of Basset(at least not yet), and we always knew there was some Collie. Didn't think of Sheltie though!
