Arrival Story:
Lily's mother was from a kill shelter in Georgia and was transferred to a rescue group called P.U.P.S where she gave birth two days later(June 20, 2008). She was only 30 lbs pregnant(when she should be 60) and was very sick(As well as the 9 pups). She refused to nurse them and had to be force-fed. Five of the puppies died from the illness(leaving 4 females) and Lily as the only tan one left. The other puppies all have homes now, as well as the mother(Olivia).
Bio:
She loves to play and run around. She loves other dogs, but needs to learn better manners. She has started in agility and loves it!

Today is my birthday! I am one whole year old! Mom has been slipping me extra treats today. It's a shame it's raining today, because mom never wants to play outside in the rain. It has been raining most of this month! I hope it stops soon.

On sunday we got in the car, after a long search for my leash, to go visit my sisters. Upon arriving at our destination, mom was VERY pleased to find that I had chewed off the clip for my leash. Lucky for her, there was a spare leash in the car. Granted it was the kind that just loops around your neck, but it was a leash! Liberty was already there and we played and took pictures together. Then Sarbina arrived, and we played some more! We waited an hour or two more for Sophia to finally arrive. I hadn't seen her since mom picked me up to officially take me home with her. I was a little tired and cranky at that point, but I still wanted to play! We took some more pictures and decided it was time to leave because the humans were cold. We went out to lunch but I had to wait in the car(mom was very uncomfortable about this but didn't have much say in the matter since grandma was driving). I slept the whole way home though!

On Tuesday I started barfing a lot. Mom took me over to the animal hospital where I moped and got x-rayed and some fluids. There was some cotton in my belly from a toy(which I later pooped out). So I was sent home and told to not eat or drink until the next morning. That stunk! I felt a lot better by that night, though.
And Happy New Year everyone! I got a lot of yummy treats. 2009!
