I've been tagged!

I've been tagged by my furfriend Luther. Here are seven interesting things about myself:

1). I love ice cream especially Butter Pecan and Vanilla and get the cutest expression on my face before they hand me the bowl to lick.

2). I'm not a toy kind of dog, but still play with Mom & Dad.

3). I love it when my Dad brushes me ( I could lay there forever).

4). My kitty brothers and sister look out for me and we even lay together sometimes and snuggle.

5). Even at my age, I am a great protector of my family and yard ( I love to "woof" at strangers!!).

6). I just had my thirteenth birthday last month.

7). Mom and Dad call me their teddybear because I love to give them kisses and rub my face against their legs when they pet me.

A Month Has Passed

Dearest Bonnie:

My sweet precious girl a month has passed since you have passed away. I have no poem that I have written, but only words to express my sorrow. Time has not healed only numbed the pain. It has taken away the smell of you where you laid, the dish where you ate, but not the ache in my heart. I wish I could have been more selfess and kept you alive, but I loved you too much to do that. You could no longer lift yourself up to drink water, walk, and it was too painful to watch. Bonnie, I still remember the first time you looked me in the eye, the trust had finally been built between us, you didn't shake when I went to pet you, you loved for the first time in your life. We worked together to build that friendship and my heart is forever yours. There is such an emptyness in my home, how sad it makes me feel. I can only smile now picturing you running with Sherlock and all of your angel friends through meadows and chasing butterflies knowing that one day we will be together again. Rest now my sweet angel for one day we will be together. Forever in my heart dear Bonnie.

One Year Anniversary

Dearest Bonnie:
My little girl our one year anniversary is tomorrow. There isn't a day that goes by that Dad and I don't think of you. What a huge affect you had on our lives and the joy you brought will stay with us forever. The memories we have in our hearts and soul make us laugh, smile and think of you with love so often. I have never been affected by an animal as I have by you, and I am forever grateful for that. Thank you my dearest Bonnie for giving me the opportunity to learn again the true meaning of unconditional love, it is the greatest gift you gave me. Till we see each other again at the rainbow bridge. Rest in peace my sweet baby.
