Arrival Story:
I (Amelia's Mommie) am your typical Weimy story.....well, almost. Thanks to Sesame Street and William Wegman. I was in high school and never knew the name of the breed. And being a bigger cat lover, never thought much about dogs. 13 years later, at a happy hour with co-workers, we were talking about dogs we liked. I stated I liked the "grey ones that were dressed up on SS". My co-worker's girlfriend said she had a Weimaraner. Said to be responsible before getting one and asked if I wanted to dogsit hers. I dogsat for her almost 2 years. Researched more about the breed (this is where the story is not like typical people who see Wegman and get a Weimy) and continued to dogsit for her and her boyfriend's dogs. I saw some major destruction between these two dogs. June 2004 I decided I may be ready for a puppy. Pugs are my next favorite breed. I liked the thought of a bigger dog. I wanted to rescue, but was very scared what could happen with my cats if I didn't have a puppy. So I went on a breeder search. Found a breeder in Sturgis, SD that had 7 week old pups listed. We conversed and made plans to meet half way the weekend after 4th of July. I knew I wanted a girl, he brought me two. They were keeping the third. After playing with these puppies for a while. I made my pick. The best pick I could ever make, let me add! It was a long drive home with a 9 week old puppy on my lap. Thank goodness I wasn't driving!
Bio:
We have had nothing but fun together. Camping trips, swimming, doggie playdates, running circles at the dogpark, visiting friends and family. Now, I couldn't imagine not having her. The cats probably could! She has decided that it's fun to chase them. However, I see them tease her. They know I will yell at her to "leave it" before they get in any trouble. All my friends wanted me to name her Pabsty. The day after I got her, we went to music in the park. She kept tipping over everyone's PBRs and drinking out of them. I really didn't like the name, but felt once I finally decided on a name for her (that took almost 2 weeks) that I owed it to my friends to have Pabsty be apart of her name somehow. I don't call her Pabsty, just a couple of frineds do.

It'z been a while since I'z have been on here. Mommie and I did move back to Denver. I'z so happy. I'z got all my old friends, making new ones and I'z has my Grandma-ma! Mommie and I are moving into the same house we'z lived in before we went to get da fleas. But it will just be us. Mommie says she'z going to try and buy it so we'z don't have to move again. I'z liked it there. But I won't has my Asker friend. He lives at "Ranch Camp" in souf Colorado. I hopez to see himz soon doh.

We moved to sunny Florida. I lay out in the sun on the weekends and it's super nice (well not this month cuz it's the rainy month). But I'z itch! A lot! I am losing fur because of these things called fleas. I'z allergic to dem. And I'z hate dem! My brofers have dem too. We are trying all kinds of stuff to get rid of the dem. But nofing seems to work. I wanna move back home so I can go to Grandma-ma's house and play wif Uncle Tractor! And have no more fleas.
