Arrival Story:
It was a day ion December and I was missing my Stoyli dog who had gone to the big dog house in the sky in October - my sister called Armonk puppy rescue and they invited us to come over with all our dogs the next day - there was baby Kylie a very, very young (almost too young I think) pure bred cocker that someone had purchased from a breeder, taken to the vet and then less than a week later dropped off at the shelter! One look and I knew he was the dog for me. My son, who was sixteen at the time, gave the shelter the donation and said "Merry Christmas Mom". It was the best gift ever! We took him home, and Trusty, who'd also been depressed at the loss of Stoyli, was laying down in the kitchen. Kylie walked over and laid down into the crook of Trusty's side and went to sleep. That was it - they are friends for life now.

This morning I did wee-wee downstairs (on the concrete floor that is waiting for the men to come and fix the flood damage) and then just to remind my mother that it is my birthday - I went into her bathroom and did poo-poo. Of course it was raining out and anydog who knows me knows I really do not care for the rain. And doing my "Business" in the rain? Ewwwww.
So Aunt Margie mailed my mother today and said "Did you remember it was Kylie's birthday today!?" and she replied "He did poo-poo in my bathroom to remind me - Of Course!" BOL!


Wow! It's my birthday!

It's my birthday! Holy cow! I hear that I may get some special treats today. But honestly? Right now the wind is blowing so hard and so loud that me, Duds, and Annie are all on Nana's bed with her. And! I'd be on top of Nana if those two would let me get anywhere near her!

1. I don't really like to poop outside when it's raining.

2. The first thing I did when I got home after being adopted was curl up in Trusty's lap.

3. When Trusty steals food and takes it into Nana's bedroom - I am always there to reap the rewards of his sneakiness.

4. I love to go swimming at Aunt Margie's in my cousin Rems, Ollie, and Dudley's pool.

5. I love to go to Aunt Margie's and run around in the backyard.

6. There is no one I love more than my Nana.

7. I love it at night when everyone goes upstairs and I can run back and forth between my mother's and Nana's room and "bed-hop".

Now I have to think of seven dogs to tag - I will have to add this later - because I think everyone's going upstairs now!
