Arrival Story:
Gracie used to belong to a Co-worker of mine's mother. They had to go out of town and I offered to babysit Gracie for them (having never met Gracie before). We sat for her for 2 weeks and fell instantly in love. When the time came for me to hand Gracie back over to her owner-she would not budge-clinging onto me with everything she had. My husband admitted to praying that something would happen and we would be given Gracie. When I returned to work after Christmas break-my co-worker came up to me and told me that her mother had suddenly become allergic to Gracie and was having trouble breathing. She asked if we wanted her and we said YES without hesitation.
