I just finished my second round of Advanced Beginner class at The Curious Canine. This round of classes was so much fun! There were three other dogs in my class - one of which was my buddy Bogart. Now I'm friends with Furgel and Jordan as well. Paula was great - she would teach the class for an hour and then let us play off lead for as long as we wanted. I went home very tired. I now know the following commands: sit, down, stand, sit/stay, down/stay, stand/stay, heel on and off leash, touch to a target, leave it, stay back, wait, come, out of sight stays, down/stay for my breakfast/dinner, and have even tried some agility. I'm going to take a few weeks off and hope in April to begin my CGC (Canine Good Citizen) training and then move on to Therapy Dog training. I get so excited when Mom pulls into the parking lot at the Curious Canine that I am just all a wiggle!

Last week we dressed up for Valentine's day and played doggy games such as "red paw/green paw", "musical chairs", and "Paula may I?". I won "Paula may I" twice :). I love training - and Mom puts steak in my bait bag - it doesn't get much better than that!!
