Arrival Story:
My boyfriend surprised me a few days after Valetine's Day with Hurley. He was eight (8) weeks old when he came in to our lives.
Bio:
Hurley was my first son. I say this because I never knew what it was like or how it felt to have my own pet growing up. I became so attached to him the first few weeks that he was around that it was hard to leave him at home during the day. He was not considered my pet anymore, but my child. He loved being with us, eating, sleeping, playing and gaining everyone's love and affection. On May 24, 2004 I came home from work expecting to see my little happy puppy run up to the door. Unfortunately, that morning would be the last morning that I would wake up to my puppy curled up next to me. Hurley died in an accident that afternoon. I choose not to explain the accident because it hits too close to home. I know he is in a safe place now looking over us. We love and miss you dearly Hurley. Love, Mom and Dad
