Sun Sign: Quick Bio:
 Birthday: April 11th 2007
Likes: His beat up soccer ball, rough-housing with his brother Red, hiding his folk's socks and anything he can eat

Pet-Peeves: Fireworks! They scare him.

Favorite Toy: His beat up soccer ball

Favorite Food: Anything edible, but he loves ice cubes. He comes running whenever he hears the ice machine on the refrigerator getting used.

Favorite Walk: Oakhurst Forest Preserve and grandpa's farm in WI

Best Tricks: He'd rather play with his soccer ball, but Jake is a great frisbee dog. He does amazing twisting leaps while catching flying frisbees.

Arrival Story: Jake was in the care of the Almost Home Foundation when he chose us to be his forever home.

Bio: Jake here. I thought I'd tell you a bit about me. Mom says I'm a really good natured dog but that I'm a bit nuts. I've got lots and LOTS of energy and my folks sometimes don't know how to channel it. I get walked every day with my brother Red and played with two or three times a day in the yard and I still have energy to spare. Mom says she needs to find a person who's training for a marathon and just tie me onto them. That might be a problem because I couldn't run in a straight line if I had to. There's just so much out there to see and sniff! Dad keeps talking about setting up a doggie agility course in the yard. I don't know what that is, but if I can eat it, I'm all for it!
When I first got to my forever home in January, mom gave me a soccer ball to play with. It's old and beat up but I love it. I got a new one a month ago, but it's just not the same. Mom says when the old one goes flat, it's going in the garbage. I hope that never happens!
I'm not as good of a swimmer as my brother Red is, but I sure like being in the lake and the ponds at grandpa's farm. I kamakazi into the ponds at a full run and come up sputtering. My folks just stand on the shore and laugh at me. Don't tell my folks, but I think they're spoiling my brother and me.
Hey, I gotta go! I think I heard my food dish being rattled!

Forums Motto: If I can eat it, it's MINE!
