Gotcha Date: August 8th 2008 Birthday: August 8th 2003 Favorite Toy: Buddy Arrival Story: I lived up the street from Mommy, Maggie & Buddy. I was allowed to run the streets while my former guardian was gone. Come to find out he didn't even stay in that house! Some elderly folk that lived next door and across the street would kinda watch out for me and feed me. I started wondering further away from my house getting very close to a very busy cross street. That's when Mommy stepped in. She come got me out of the street Friday, Aug. 8th, 2008 at 7:30 p.m. She left a note on the door of my house where I would be but no one ever came looking for me. Today (Sunday) she finally saw my guardian's car in the driveway and grabbed me up and we went to speak with him about me living with Mommy, Maggie & Buddy. He thought that was best since he's never there and I was pretty much on my own. So... HERE I AM! After 2 days with my new family, I have adjusted EXTREMELY well to the good life! I love it here! And I love my new brother and sister! Forums Motto: Mommy\'s little suction cup
Mom says I've gotten a little chunky since I came here last year. So I went for my annual checkup the other day. No problem right? Nooooooo.... Dr. B says I've gained 2 pounds. I told Dr. B that I enjoyed getting every ounce of it too. So... Mom says, "OMD! That's TWO packs of bacon!"
Dang it! I've looked everywhere! I can't find that BACON!
I not sure where to start! Today is my first Gotcha Day with my new family! If it's been a year are they still new? Do they realize how lucky I feel? How much I adore my mom? My favorite place on this earth is cuddled up on her chest at every given moment. She calls me velcro and suction cup for barking out loud, but she doesn't seem to mind. I can look at her with special look I have that tells her each and every time how much I love her. Yeah, I lay it on pretty thick but I think she knows it's from the heart.
It's been an amazing year it has! Got a great home with a brother and sister. Got on Dogster. Lost the goobers (grrrr). And OMD, I got Honorable Mention in the Adopt a Stroll 09! Man, life is good, I'm lucky and most of all I'm loved more than I ever dreamed I could be. I'll guarantee I'm looking forward to year TWO!
