I saw Lilly at a pet shop window. I walked by a saw a salesman pound on his cage with his fist very hard, all the dogs were alert except Lilly, she was barely able to open her little eyes, but that didn't matter to the sales guy, who just wanted to sell her. He lifted her out of the cage in such a harsh way that I marched right in and said I want that dog. Turns out she had very bad pneomonia, I took her to the emergency room where was treated and released after a week. The battle didn't end there for the shop, thanks to the NY puppy lemon law I took them to small claims, and Lilly was awarded reimbursement for all vet, groomers, and doctors visits for one year. Lilly is the best thing that every happened to me she's God sent.
