Arrival Story:
Our springer spaniel Yukon who was 12 years old ended up having bone cancer. So with much pain and sorrow we bid Yukon a proper farewell to rid him of the horrible pain he was in. Winnie our other dog was missing Yukon so very much. They grew up together and we got them as pups from an animal shelter. We ran into a wonderful lady who was fostering Wiskers. He had been at the local Human Society and was due for termination. He came over to the house and wefostered hi for 3 days to make sure he and Winnier got along ok. It was love at first site. He was a little skiddish at first but that did not take long to overocme. He and his current buddy Diego are the best of friends and use each other as chew toys everyday.
