Monty Dog Around the World...

Well what a week I've had!

First off, let me tell you, I apologize for not updating sooner.

I've been a busy pup.

Last weekend, my bipeds brought their bipedal friends over. They also brought over my cat friend Alibi. I don't know why Alibi was so grumpy, but boy was he ever cranky. Once, he even bopped me right on the head! For no good reason! Can you imagine???

My humans told me it was because barking is not a nice way to make friends. Personally, I don't think bopping puppies on the head is a nice way to make friends. But after a while, Alibi and I made up our differences, and decided we'd get along.

I think maybe he was just jealous because his humans were playing with me. Or maybe he was offended because I kept having gas. Like his litterbox doesn't stink, that's how he acted! Well fine!

But in the end, we decided to be nice to each other. I wouldn't want him to not come back.

THEN!!!

A few days went by and I woke up one morning and the whole planet , even the house across the street!, was covered in this weird fluffy, cold white stuff. At first, I was not sure if I should go to the bathroom on it, because it kind of looked like that blankie my mom has and when I go on that, I sure get yelled at....

But then I kinda remembered that when I was a little baby last year, this stuff came. It was fun. So I begged my bipeds to come play in the yard with me.

What a blast! We had such a fun time. There were these weird things that were kinda like sticks, but they were made of ice! Then there was the fun of digging my toys up out of the snow. Snow, that's what it's called. WOW! I want it to snow every day! My bipeds kept whining about something called a shovel, but I don't know what that is. I don't care about shovels. I wanna play!!!

But get this! I woke up the very next day and...it was all gone. Could it have been just a dream, I wonder?

I just don't know. But I hope it comes back soon. It's really fun to bounce in.

So that was my last week in a nutshell. I promise to be a better journal updater soon.

Magical Drive Up Food Place!!!

Grrrrrr

I woke up early today and was put in the fun thing that takes you places. I wound up at the vet. I guess it was okay. I played with some other dogs and then a lady gave me a shot. Then she gave me a cookie so I guess, actually it was not that bad at all.

Then afterwards, I went to Petsmart and got a brand new collar! This one is sooooo snazzy looking! I am the top dog! It's made out of leather and has a neat design on it. I'm soooo smooth!

Then, I got some new rawhide chewies and a new toy. So it was actually a pretty good day.

But THEN, I discovered something AMAZING...

My people were in the moving thing and they pulled up to this building that smelled like people food. They talked to an invisible person inside a box and then they went up to a window and gave the man some green paper and the man gave them some tasty smelling people food! He just GAVE it to them!

He also gave them some shiny metal things.

Can you imagine such a wonder???

I MUST learn the secret to this. I am going to start hording green paper so that I can try this next time I'm in the moving thing. I wonder if I ask for cookies and give the man some paper, if he'll give me Snausages?

Wow! I will keep you dogs posted on my findings as I research this very fascinating discovery...

My last two days

Well. That's it. I'm going on strike!

Last night, my mom did not even come home until after midnight. It was okay, I mean, I was home with my dad all night while my mom went to something called a "play".

Um, if this was play time, how come I was not involved???

I was very upset. My mom seemed pretty happy when she came home too, but instead of staying up until 5 in the morning with me, she just went to bed.
I spent the evening sitting on my dads lap and hanging out with him while he played some video games. I like video games because they make neat noises. But usually, I sit on my moms lap and we play catch or tug of war.

THEN! Today! These humans had the NERVE to stay late at that place they go everyday. They call it "work". I bet it's super fun there and they never take me! That is not fair at all. I know that the moving thing in the garage only takes you to good places because every single time I have ever gone in it, the end result has been a fun place. Even the vets is fun and the groomers.

I think my people just don't want to take me anywhere.

But I digress....they did not even come home until an hour and a half later than usual. Said they were going out after this "work" with their friends. They say they will make it up to me tomorrow because their friends are coming to visit and my Kitty cousin Alibi will be coming over. I will try to be nice to him. I hope I'm not to big to play with him because he is such a cool kitty!

Okay, well I'm going to go climb up on the couch with my chewie sticks and pout until I get picked up and hugged.
