My Diary

Mom is very frustrated...

She went to the Paws in the Park fair today so she could show everybody how smart I was in hopes of finding me a good home. She arrived and asked where I was. The director said I was not brought (even though the shelter said they would make sure I was there) because I had not yet gotten my rabies shot. So...mom went back home, got Samson, and had a good time. *sigh* my forever home could've been there..

A message from Harvey's foster mom:

I took Harvey back to the shelter today, I felt he was ready for a new home. I wanted to give him a day to adjust before the weekend. The staff was amazed at his new tricks, and on Sunday I am taking him to an off-site adoption to show potential adopters what he can do!

He has the cutest blue merle puppy playmate, although she seemed more enthusiastic than he was. It was very hard, but I know it will get easier as I get more fosters. They did not have any that they needed to be fostered at the time so we are back to a 2 dog household, and boy does it feel empty.

Going to the vet!

The shelter made me an appointment with a professional veteranarian. I will be going on Monday and hopefully all of this will get cleared up! Pawlease keep me in your thoughts.
