Quick Bio:

Birthday:
May 10th 2004

Likes:
playing with other dogs; wrestling with Daddy (mommy will do in a pinch).

Pet-Peeves:
That we don't have friends over to play with me all the time.

Favorite Toy:
stuffie fox / Mommy's toes

Favorite Food:
Food is restrictive because of tummy issues but he loves cheese and the occasional pig's ear.

Favorite Walk:
No favourites

Best Tricks:
Telling him to go to another room and tell his Daddy "love you" by barking twice.

Arrival Story:
I became allergic to all breeds in my late teens, even the hypo-allergenic ones. It was heartbreaking for me as we always had a dog. Then I met a couple of Wheatens next door and they didn't bring on allergy symptoms. Kept that in mind until I could accommodate a pet full-time (meaning not leaving him alone at home all day). Met with and checked out a breeder, and there was Bear. We picked him up and he didn't shake. Instead, he met our gaze and gave us kisses. It was a match made in Heaven! He has now been with us over 1-1/2 years and he's the light of our lives.

Bio:
Bear has become a wonderful addition to the office too. I am self-employed and therefore at liberty to bring him to work with me. Clients often stop in just to see him or, with my permission, bring their pups to play with him briefly. Bear enjoys meeting everyone, and is reasonably behaved for his age and breed. I was quite impressed when a client brought his 2-1/2 year old daughter and Bear restrained himself from jumping up on her or overwhelming her with his hugs and kisses.

My excellent life

Approaching my second birthday

I've been with my Mommy and Daddy for more than 1-1/2 years now. I go to work with my Mommy where lots of people come to see me but spend most of their time talking to her instead of playing with me. I love the car ride there and back almost as much as just hanging out with her. I still hate it when she leaves me home alone with Daddy for a while, and always give her a big Wheaten Greetin' when she comes back. I admit that I am spoiled rotten and have a gazillion toys at home and at Mommy's work. Daddy pretends to beat me up every night after work, and I let him. But, as much as I love my family, I wish I had some doggie friends to play with. All the dogs in my neighbourhood are older than me and not interested in playing any more. I am hoping that for my second birthday, Mommy will set up a playdate for me with another doggie or two. We have a private fenced and gated playground at Mommy's house, so none of us could run away. I bet I could run faster than any other dog. To help me run super fast, I tuck my short stub of a tail under my behind. That helps my back paws move ahead of my front paws and that helps me run super fast! Anyone want to try to catch me?
