Arrival Story:
I saw an add in the paper for german sheperd pups. We went out to meet the mother & father & puppies. Nikita kept biting our pant legs & she was just too cute so we picked her.
Bio:
One of Kita's favorite things to do is when she "Beans" out & goes crazy running from room to room as fast as she can and jumps on all the furniture around the room. She made the move from Michigan down to Texas with us, now she's a cowdog. Our baby girl was diagnosed with liver failure 5 months ago & given 1 week to live. She had lost so much weight her bones were sticking out. She wouldn't eat. Luckily the specialist prescribed several medications that saved her. And 5 months later she is still with us, she's gained some weight back & is still playing ball all the time. We are lucky we still have her but know that any day could be her last, so we cherish each day with our little baby girl. As long as she feels good we'll keep buying her expensive medicines. We lost our girl after 8 good months on January 13, 2009. It happened very fast. She got sick in the morning & by the middle of the day had complete liver failure and we had to let her go. She was a month short of her 6th birthday.
