My Birthday on 25th!

Hello,
I am excited! I have a Birthday coming up on the 25th! I wonder what kind of surprises will come my way? I hope I gets some new toys! I love toys! (Although, Mom says I already have too many to trip over) Mom will probably make me wear a silly hat or bow on my head and want to take a bunch of photos. She's a photo nut! I wonder if I will get a cake or cool snack treats? Wow the anticipation is killing me? Koda is probably going to be a little jealous, cause I'll be getting the attention. But, mom will lavish him with equal amounts. That's what she usually does. His birthday is in Nov. His turn is coming!
I had a rough past week. I was sick. I got a nasty gastrointestinal
thing. I was feeling pretty bad. It wasn't pretty! But, I'm all better and getting back to my normal self. Thank goodness. I wouldn't want to be sick on my birthday! That would be a drag. Well-later pals!

OMG, my mom is screaming and carrying on, she just found out that she is going to be a grandma! She can't believe it. My human sister just moved away, all the way to AZ, like a week and a half ago, now she just called our mom tonight and told us that she just found out that she is pregnant. She's going to have a puppy! Oh, I mean a baby!
(Maybe twins??-our mom is a identical twin and my human sis's dad is a fraternal twin, so....... who knows, usually it skips a generation-and human sis is doubly jinxed-LOL!-poor kid) She just may have a litter!(I'm bad!) Better her than me. Hey, maybe we will get to go on vacation to AZ soon to see the litter-I mean, baby/babies. Dakota and I have never flown on a plane before. Mom and dad have though.
That would be an adventure! And we thought camping was fun. My human sis has a Boxer puppy, named Gsxr (Jixer). We got to meet him before they left for AZ. He was annoying, nipping at us all the time. His puppy teeth were sharp. Maybe by the time we go visit, he will have calmed down a bit. He is mom's grand dog. You want to hear something funny, one time, before human sis left, mom went to visit human sis's apt, and she just let Gsxr out of his kennel to go potty, and he ran to my mom all excited and jumped up on her to greet her, and pottied on mom's leg. Way to go! Mom said she got christened by her grand dog. I was wondering why, when she got home she had such a strong scent of that annoying dog on her.

Went Camping!

July 7th, 2008

This past weekend, my buddy, Dakota and I got to go camping with our mom and dad, to Lake Gaston (VA/NC Border). We were so excited! Usaually we aren't allowed to go on vacation with our owners and have to be borded. So, we were really excited. My day's brother owns a vacation timeshare there, and they brought a puppy, Brandy with them. She was cute, but annoying. Dad took us swimming in the lake, I was scared at first (Can you imagine a retriever scared of water?) Then, I got used to it. Dakota was a real woose though) Then we had to get bathed afterwards. We had alot of fun. We liked going for walks around the campground and sniffing all the people and other dogs. I saw some stray cats running around. I perked up when I saw them and starting barking. All mom has to say is "look, a kitty!" That definatly gets my attention. Mom wouldn't let me chase them though. Party pooper! Maybe next time.
