Arrival Story:
My daddy adopted me from the pound where I was dumped by my previous family. They did not train me or tell me the appropriate way to act so when I became too big for them to handle they got rid of me. I had this bad habit of puppy-biting faces, limbs, whatever and wildly jumping all over people, and I was basically a wild-child. My daddy and my human playmate - the one writing this for me - taught me the appropriate ways to behave. I now sit-stay, wait for permission to cross the street, greet without jumping (most of the time), and Halt (stop, preferably sitting). I also know leave-it, off, wait, along with many other commands and proper behaviors.

Bio:
I still have a bit of a wild steak - I am extremely strong-willed, as Dals tend to be, but I know this annoys my humans so I try to keep it to a minimum. I am very lovable and cuddly. I smile when I'm delighted to meet or be with you. I can be timid and can only play with calm dogs who back off when I get overbearing or testy, but I don't like bitey or overbearing playmates. My human playmate says I like to have my cake and eat it too. I love to swim! I help my human playmate walk farther than she wants to - this is important because she has Fibromyalgia - I don't know what it is but I know it causes her a lot of pain and grief. She says I brighten up her day and make her happy. Well, she brightens up my day too and she makes me happy, walking me, taking me to go swimming, massaging me, giving me treats, taking me to meet all sorts of people and children, and cuddling with me at the end of the adventure.

Sorry if I have been distant. My human walking partner has been really busy and for a while her computer was out of order. So, I hope everyone will accept our apology for not being active lately. Aunt Mb has not felt very well and since she works on computers at work, sometimes she doesn't feel like doing anything on the computer at home. But we both hope to be a little more active more often.
I am thinking of getting on Facebook. I haven't decided yet. I will need help from Aunt Mb to do this too.
Hummm....
