Arrival Story:
My friend's dog had puppies and we were moving into our new house. We wanted a dog to make our family complete!

Bio:
Rocky is very mellow and laid back. He is the dog in the neighborhood that everyone knows and loves. He's our gentle giant. We recently had a scare because I felt a tumor in his abdomen. After x-rays, an ultrasound and other tests, it turns out that it is a fatty tumor and not causing any harm. He was also diagnosed with hypothyroidism, so we're working to get his thyroid levels back to normal. UPDATE: Rocky has taking the thyroid medicine prescribed by his veterinarian for almost a year now. He has lost over 20 lbs and is a brand new dog. His energy levels are up, his appetite is good, his eyes are bright and his coat is gorgeous! He loves to strut when we go on our walks! With the loss of the weight, he's also lost the stiffness in his joints, which gives him much more mobility. I foresee a very long life for our Rocky!
