Arrival Story:
D-Bo was seized with 7 other siblings approx 8 wks old.He was also rescued with his dad,mom and another pitbull from a very not-so-nice place. All the dogs including each pup were tied up outside to various things like cars, parts of the house, etc. They didn't have access to food, shelter or water as any decent person would provide and as required by law.The one pup in the litter died a few hours after rescue due to hypothermia and lack of adequate food & water. All dogs were extremely skinny, and had parasites externally and internally. I fell in love with them all, every single one of the dogs was very sweet and loving despite what they had been put through. After the SPCA got custody of all dogs they were vet cared for,fed properly and eventually, when healthy, they all got adopted out into awesome responsible families. I picked D-Bo out of the litter of pups because he had so much spirit, and just clicked with me.I would have taken everyone home if I could have but I could only take one.Today D-Bo is an awesome, very well mannered pup. He's almost a year old and we're looking forward to taking the CGN test soon. He's a quick learner and has many, many tricks he loves to do.There's always more to learn and we hope to be one of the best examples of what a real pitbull is..very loyal, loving, friendly and most definately NOT a mean or dangerous dog. We wish there was a contest and show like this for us to try out for in Canada.
