Arrival Story:
Austen is a failed foster and love at first sight dog.... he was one of a very small percentage of lucky dogs that one of the rescues i foster with helps out from out of the US, honestly I'm really not a big supporter of bringing in foreign dogs when we have so many here to care for.., I was there at the airport when he and his travling buddy came in from Tiwain. i was to help set up Austen new foster mom and take his travling buddy a small senior Maltese with a severe heart murrmer to his new mom after and over night at my apartment. Austen's foster mom was a first time foster and unfortunately after a night didn't feel she could handle him with their schedule.. So to keep him out of boarding while looking for another foster home I volunteered to take him in.... he just acclimated quickly. and all my dogs loved him so much , he just fit into our little famly. and I resigned my self to he just belongs here..
