Birthday: June 1st 2000 Arrival Story: Victor was surrendered to Keller, TX animal control. His former owners no longer wanted him. Thus, he was cast out, ready to be put down. Thanks to Husky Rescue, he has survived. Victor is an 85 pound male about 8 years young. He shares his foster home with an 8 year old alpha female Malamute and a 65 pound male Siberian. Victor loves to play with his foster pack. He even sings! Victor loves to jog with the pack, and does very well on a leash. He won his medal completing a 1 ½ mile race at the 9th Annual Hound Dog Hustle in Grapevine, TX on 19 April 2008. Victor is not crate trained. He prefers to be close to his family. He is completely house broken and has learned basic commands. Victor has a sensitive stomach, so it is imperative that his new family slowly change his food, and refrain from any “people" food treats. Victor most likely lived a loner life. However, he has no problem with his adopted pack, and would prefer going to a permanent home with a friend or two. If his forever family wants to take him along, Victor is well behaved and enjoys truck riding. Bio: If you are interested in adopting Victor, please submit an application through Adopt a Husky of Dallas (http://www.adoptahusky.org).
