Birthday: July 1st 2007 Arrival Story: Aspen is a beautiful snow white 40 pound female. Aspen has the cutest little pink nose and very pale blue eyes. She loves attention, both giving and receiving. Aspen loves to be with people and will follow you inside and out. Since she is smaller and more compact than most other huskys, she knows she’s the perfect lapdog. She is extremely gentle and gets along well with other dogs like the perfect little lady she is. We don’t know how she will be with cats, but with her gentle nature I’m sure she can be trained. With the exception of some 'counter-surfing' behavior, Aspen’s indoor manners are excellent. At some point in her 10 month life, someone has taken time to train Aspen how to behave inside the house, in the yard and on a leash.
Aspen is very bright and eager to learn. She will be easy to train and a joy to work and play with. ADHI’s vet says she is a special dog and can’t imagine how she ended up in the pound ready to be put down. ADHI rescued Aspen the day she was to be put down and this special girl was worth the trip. Aspen will fit into any home situation, with or without children, large or small yard or home. This special dog just wants someone to love her so she can love them back. She adjusted to our foster home the day we got her and will do the same for you. If you’re looking for a beautiful girl to fill your life, come visit Aspen and be prepared to take her home.
