Arrival Story:
Maggie was an earlybirthday gift from my best friends. She was 8 weeks old. I turned right around and bought her sister, Faith, for them. The two sisters see each other a few times a week, so they have never really been apart. Maggie went to obedience school twice - beginner and intermediate. She is a very good dog and minds very well.

Bio:
Maggie loves to watch TV- especially when there are animals on the screen. She jumps and barks very loudly so some time we have to change the channel if it is a program that is "all pets" (like Animal Planet). She loves to swim and play with her Kong. She loves to ride in the car. She also loves her new brother Milo, adopted this past August (aka Talus McFurry). They wrestle almost constantly; I have never seen two dogs bond so quickly.

Forums Motto:
Where's the remote?

Miss Maggie Mae loves to watch TV! Especially if there are animals (preferably Goldens) on the the screen. Unfortunately, she talks (barks) the whole time.

Maggie Mae loves her brother Milo

We have had Milo for just over a year now and Maggie loves him so much. They play (wrestle and rough house) all the time. Maggie continues to love to watch TV. Not long ago, she sat and watched an entire Beethoven movie (the ones with the St. Bernards). In fact, it's really hard to watch programs that have alot of animals in them because she wants to bark at them and you can't hear the TV! I love my Maggie Mae!

Wow, winter has really arrived in the Northwest! We rarely get snow and our roads have been white for almost a week. The new picture on my page is me and brother Milo playing in the snow. We run out and play a little bit, check out to see what the neighbor dogs are doing, and then come back in....it's too cold to stay out for long.

Stay warm everybody!

I love my new brother

I have a new golden brother and his name is Milo (it was Talus, but my mom changed it because it sounded too much like Alex, my human sister's name).

Anyhoo, Milo has been with us since the first part of August. He reminds me alot of my brother, Harley, who died March 2007. Milo and I compete over tennis balls and the kong. He likes this knobby pink football that I don't really care for. He is always dropping it in our mom's lap to get her to throw it to him.

He has a deep voice and he likes to talk trash to the neighbor dogs on the other side of the fence. When he first came to live with us, he went on a long car ride with us as we were taking our human sister to Girl Scout camp. Well, he is a big boy and he took up almost the whole entire back seat of our mom's Volvo. I had to sit up the entire trip (almost 100 miles)! He has finally learned how to scoot over now so we both can fit on the seat!

I love him very much and I am so glad that he came to live with us.
