Birthday: May 3rd 2008 Likes: Playing with people! Pet-Peeves: People who dump puppies on farms ... What the heck!! Favorite Toy: A de-stuffed, now unidentifiable animal of some sort Favorite Food: PEANUT BUTTER !! I kiss the person who invented this stuff! Favorite Walk: Around the yard ... I just love to explore Best Tricks: I learn new tricks everyday ... right now I guess my best is if you say "pool", I jump into the baby pool! Arrival Story: Koda was dumped on a farm in KY with his littermates. Luckily the farmer had a big heart, and took them in, made sure they got to the vet, and then took them to the shelter, but the shelter was very crowded, so up he came into Rogers' Rescues foster dog program, in hopes of finding a wonderful forever home. Bio: Koda appears to be mostly a Catahoula, maybe mixed with aussie. He looks like a blueberry muffin!! He's doing excellent with housebreaking, is VERY loving and well, is just super smart. He is looking for a home who will challenge him mentally like with agility or obedience. He is currently being clicker trained and he already knows sit, down, stay, pool, jump and tunnel. His new family will need to let him sleep in bed with them as he's a big time cuddler. He's extremely social and loves being around people and other dogs. Koda has a great energy level ... its just right where he'll play a bit and then settle down in the home. This guy is a total catch!! GOOD NEWS! Koda got adopted! Guess What??? I got adopted today and I am soooo excited! My new Mom and Dad already rescued one dog from Rogers' Rescues and well, I hear us rescue dogs are like potato chips .. can't have just one ... and so they opened their hearts and home AGAIN and gave a homeless guy like me a chance!
I have a nice fenced yard, a new fun to play with 4 legged brother, and a new Mom and Dad that already adore me to pieces! I promise to try my best to be a very good puppy!
Thanks to the great ladies at the Anderson County shelter who first cared for me and my siblings. Thanks to all the people involved in getting me from KY to NJ, thanks to Rogers' Rescues for taking me into their foster dog program and leading the way to my new Mom and Dad, who get the biggest thanks for making the lifetime committment to love and care for me ... forever. Happy puppy kisses to all!
