Arrival Story:
Hoppy's family was not able to keep him so, they contacted me to see if I knew a rescue that could help. Welllllll.....I tried... I really did but, no one answered my emails because as always there are so many desperate pleas for doggys in need. I decided I would take Hoppy (FKA Tater) myself and go ahead and get him ready for adoption.

Bio:
Hoppy was named by the Dad because of his habit of hopping along instead of walking (and he likes Hopalong Cassidy). It was pretty cute at first but, it is also of some concern because thought there is something wrong with Hoppy's hind legs. He has been checked by the vet and X-rayed to rule out hip dysplasia. It appears that Hoppy may have just grown too fast as he seems to doing better and does not "hop" anymore. Hoppy is a very sweet and affectionate boy who LOVES to cuddle and give kisses. He is also very smart and has learned to go out the doggy door and sit for his treats , etc. in only a few days.
